Relax at Our Meditation Playshop, with Lisa Holloway
. Lisa Holloway has been a practicing metaphysical teacher and energy healer for over twenty years. She is a Reiki Master/Teacher, certified Polarity Therapist, and Creative Visualization Coach. Lisa is professionally trained as a group facilitator, and provides guided meditation in areas such as forgiveness, gratitude, abundance, healing the inner child, and past life regression. She has a passion for helping others to reach their greatest potential and works to help others identify their innate wisdom and gifts and to use them to build a fulfilling and purposeful life.
Next Playshop date will be January 21st, at 7:00pm. By donation.

Unity Classes-Metaphysics 1

There is a sign up sheet on the back wall for a new class beginning on January 22nd. This is an accredited Unity class so if you have ever considered becoming a licensed Unity teacher or Minister, this is how you start. And of course, you can take the class for your own spiritual growth. Books are on order and will be available for purchase for $25.00 and you are advised to read the first three chapters before the first class.
Metaphysics 2, 3 and 4 courses will also be offered throughout 2018.

Bring a yoga mat if you have one.
Devon also offers a Family Yoga class on the second Friday of the month. This Family Yoga class is in recess until the new year.

Join us for our Pay It Forward potluck supper on Friday, January 26th at 6:30.
We enjoy a fabulous meal together and then those who wish to participate, put $10 into a pot and a name is drawn for do something wonderful with the money and report back the following month.

Please take the time to fill in your 2018 Unity Membership Renewal. If you are already a member of Unity of Nanaimo and wish to remain a member for 2018, please complete a membership renewal form during coffee. You can just leave it on the table and we will pick it up. We need to update our files for 2018 and we need to get these completed to know how many members we have in our charity before our AGM. Paul Elder, Remote Viewer Teacher, Writer, and Speaker.
Paul Elder has spent a lifetime studying human nature from a unique perspective. He is a survivor of three near-death experiences: a drowning at the age of 12, a car accident at 17, and a heart attack at the age of 41.
Along with the trauma and subsequent beauty of death came a series of spontaneous spiritual events - events that would rock his world, turning his belief system upside down, leaving him with some profound insights as to our true nature and purpose in the universe.
After spending nearly a decade as a Radio and Television news reporter, Elder ventured into a career of politics and business spanning more than 20 years. Forever grateful for his near-death experiences, his spiritual insights helped to mold and deeply influence his approach to politics, business, and life.
A trainer for the world renowned Monroe Institute, Paul lives on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, and spends his time writing, teaching, and speaking throughout the United States and Canada on the phenomenon of near-death and out-of-body experiences.

Join Ev on a wild and solo ride of the miracles and mysteries of places like the city/deserts of Doha Qatar, the Sinai area of Egypt, the mysteries of Petra in Jordan, the markets and Casbas of Morocco, the BLUE waters of the gorgeous Maldive Islands the ancient magic of Oman as well as a wonderful story of a Miracle 60th Birthday Manifestation in Dubai and Abu Dhabi (with pictures!)
Ev Schmidt has been in the process of raising her consciousness and supporting others to do the same using the Law of Attraction since she had a profound healing using it in the year 2001. She has been doing this through workshops, personal coaching, but most of all just living a magical life and inspiring others to KNOW that they can too! After traveling overseas and some substantial time away, Ev is back on the island and excited to share some new insights into this powerful way of living that she has learned and is practicing.

Health Promotion (Seated Form) Tai Chi class is beneficial to everyone, and is particularly suitable for students who have health and mobility issues. Recent studies indicate that Tai Chi may help with a range of medical problems including Parkinson's, MS, Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, Asthma, and rehabilitation from hip and knee replacements.
