It was unveiled at the Broadway Accessibility Summit, courtesy of Schubert Theaters, the Broadway League, Sound Associates and TDF/TAP. Music Icon Copes with Hearing Issues

Eric Clapton, age 72, spoke up recently about his debilitating health issues. At the top of the list: hearing loss and tinnitus. Amazingly, he's still driven to record and perform. We hope Clapton's candor inspires others to take action. Hearing protection, tinnitus therapy and annual hearing screenings are steps that promote a lifetime of healthy hearing.  Read more. 

HOME-BASED TELETHERAPY PROGRAM             
Hear with CHC

Teletherapy is giving more families access to CHC's renowned clinical staff. Through live interactive-video conferencing, children 0-3 and their parents can receive listening and spoken language training in the comfort of their own home. This free program - Hear with CHC - is ideal for families who live a distance from CHC or other qualified providers.    Learn more.

  • HLAA-NYC Meeting (2/20) - Holly Cohen and Nancy Williams lead an interactive session on Recognizing and Confronting Stigma Feb. 20th, 6:30-8pm, in the Assembly Room of the Community Church of NY (40 E. 35th St.).  Learn more.
  • Communication Course for Seniors (3/1) - Communicate with Success is a free 8-week program starting March 1st to improve communication skills of older adults with hearing loss. Speech-language pathologist Janet Pierro facilitates. Learn more.
  • Comedy Night (4/25) - This one-of-a-kind evening of stand-up comedy made accessible for people with hearing loss takes place April 25th at Carolines on Broadway. More details to come!
