Please Pray for

Our Dominicans

St. Dominic,
Pray for Us
If you have a prayer request, please email [email protected].

Dear School Families,
Across the nation, Catholic schools are preparing for Catholic Schools Week, which is a week long celebration of the contributions that our parish community, parents, teachers and students make towards the fulfillment of the evangelization of the Catholic Church.  Pope Francis said, " The contribution of education is sowing hope ."   He urges all those involved in Catholic education to be builders of a more united and peaceful world.
Our second graders had a retreat this week to help them prepare their hearts for their First Reconciliation. In the classroom, they are learning more about what it means to be faithful peacebuilders.   During our staff meeting, our teachers gathered in prayer and prayed to have more of an awareness of the presence of God in their lives.  Our PTG Board met this week and prayed for a renewal of the mind and a better understanding that all the work they do is for the purpose of serving the Lord.
Our 5th graders are leading us in praying our mass tomorrow.  They will be challenging us to "speak for those who can not."   I invite you to join us at mass as we pray that we can be sowers of hope.
In Partnership,

Mrs. Fely Fajardo
Interim Principal
