Last year, a new fun activity was added to A Graceful Evening -
The Dessert Dash
- where tables bid on the chance to be the first to grab delicious desserts for their table. The Dessert Dash ended up netting some significant additional donations at the event! This year we will be bring the Dessert Dash back, but we are planning to have the desserts on plates, dishes or cake plates which are donated so they can also be kept by the bidders.
Think of getting an amazing dessert and a beautiful dish lovingly donated by a member of the Grace family!
I know we all have serving plates, large serving bowls, large baskets, cutting boards or cake plates that we've had for years and likely haven't used in that same amount of time. If you are willing to donate these treasures to the school, we would love to use them as a part of Dessert Dash.
If you can take a look in your cabinets and drop any plates, dishes or cake plates either at Grace at the front desk by March 7 or at Cindy Mellin's house at 1031 Forest Avenue.

If your child has not returned their basketball uniform yet, please do so as soon as possible. It should be washed and in a plastic bag with the child’s name and returned to their coach or the school office.
Looking ahead- Lutheran Schools Week is coming up, the week of March 12-16. Dress up days and fun activities are planned for each day, culminating with Grandparents Day on Friday.
The dress up theme for each day is:
Monday- animal print or camouflage
Tuesday- class choice
Wednesday- your red, gray, black or yellow (not neon) Walkathon tee-shirt.
Thursday- sports team day
Friday- crazy hats, socks or sunglasses
