Mr. Scott brings 20 years of vision and executive leadership in economic and community development, having most recently served as the President and CEO of New Directions for Veterans.

MLK Day of Service
On Monday, January 15th (MLK Jr. Day) over 550 volunteers came to the OC Food Bank to help pack food boxes for seniors in need. Over the course of three shifts, they were able to pack over 9,000 food boxes! Thank you to all the organizations, groups, and individuals that contributed to service on their day off!

. On Saturday, January 27th, over 60 volunteers came to the Giving Farm to harvest crops to donate to the OC Food Bank!

Buena Park residents attended a specialized training that empowers them to improve their community by promoting healthy eating, physical activity, and safe play spaces. The residents created a community improvement project to promote safer, more walk-able communities.
