Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance
about what we do not see.

Adult Faith Formation Opportunities

There are several upcoming adult formation series beginning this winter.  Please join us!
  • Has it been a while - maybe even since grade school - that you've really delved into your Catholic faith?   Maybe it's time for a Catholic Update: The Big Picture of Christianity.  This six-part series, presented by Fr. Joe Kuharski, will be held several Tuesday evenings, 6:15-7:30 p.m., in January and February.  The next session is January 30.
  • Got questions about life? Try Alpha (https://alphausa.org/catholic)! This past fall, a group of 45 people tried Alpha in the first course offered here at St. Stephen's. Alpha is an opportunity to explore life and the Christian faith over a meal, an engaging video, and a small group discussion. Sessions will be most Wednesdays, 6:15-7:30 p.m., beginning January 31.
  • Want to start the new year in a way that will transform your life?  Join us for the 33 Days to Morning Glory study in preparation for Marian Consecration. Each day we'll individually follow four great Marian giants: St. Louis de Montfort, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Teresa of Calcutta and St. John Paul ll. They'll teach us the secrets to drawing closer to the Heart of Jesus through the Heart of Mary. In our weekly meetings, we'll share our insights within our small group and then watch a 30 minute video.  Sessions will be held most Monday evenings, 6:30-8:00 p.m. beginning February 12.
  • A Biblical Walk through the Mass:  Join us for this DVD and discussion study program. The series will take place between the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday Masses in FCC 10 on the following dates: February 18 and 25, March 4, 11, and 25. You are welcome to attend any or all sessions. Study aids and refreshments will be provided.
  • Deacon Matt Shireman leads a Bible Study on Thursday mornings from 8:45-9:45 a.m. in The Refuge through May 17. The Bible Study will go through the readings for the upcoming Sunday Mass. Insights on the passages from Catholic Bible commentaries and the Catechism of the Catholic Church will supplement the readings.
