Dear Members,

I was contacted today by Raimy Cheyne, Supervising Bus Operations Analyst for The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in reference to their newly reopened George Washington Bridge Bus Station (GWBBS).  She asked that I pass the following information on to our members regarding open bus gates available at the terminal:

"The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is now accepting applications for a license to operate at the redeveloped GWBBS i n New York. Applications are due on February 16, 2018.   The renovated GWBBS opened in Ma y 2017 after undergoing significant upgrades, including new bus gates, a climate-controlled passenger pavilion, new elevators and escalators, new retail spaces, and a digital passenger information system. The station contains direct ramps onto and off the George Washington Bridge."

Please contact Raimy Cheyne at rcheyne@panynj.gov with any questions.

Thank you for your time and we will continue to monitor and keep you updated on important issues.
Sincerely,

Pattie
