2009 through 2019 will likely be the longest uninterrupted period of economic expansion in our nation's history. Dover's policymakers have leveraged opportunities, made key decisions and tough choices during this time that have continued to position our city for growth and prevented decline.
Attend to learn about key inflection points over the past ten years that could have sent Dover down a different path and learn how local decision making has been key to our achievement. The presentation will be conducted by Brian Gottlob, President of PolEcon Research and Christopher Parker, Assistant City Manager, Director of Planning and Strategic Initiatives for the City of Dover.

Play like a kid again at the Children's Museum of New Hampshire's 21+ Throwback Thursday: Grown-Up Play Dates! January's Throwback Thursday theme is "Engineer Some Fun." Remember the egg drop project you did in middle school? It's baaaack! Think regular Jenga is a tricky game? Wait until you try GIANT Jenga. As always, 7th Settlement Brewery will serve beer, wine and a signature cocktail (cash bar) and the museum will dish out the fun as well as non-alcoholic beverages.

The Infamous Stringdusters

The Infamous Stringdusters feature Andy Hall (dobro), Jeremy Garrett (fiddle), and Travis Book (double bass), in addition to Falco and Pandolfi.
Letting the past inform and the present propel, the Stringdusters' style and substance are uniquely Infamous. Since 2007, the band's ever-evolving artistry and boldly creative collaborations - including Ryan Adams, Joss Stone, Bruce Hornsby, Joan Osborne, and Lee Ann Womack - have pushed them past the edges of traditional acoustic music and carved out a musical niche all their own in the hearts of fans and critics, alike. Over the past couple of years, they released 2015's "Undercover," a covers EP, followed by 2016's "Ladies & Gentlemen," an album featuring multiple female guest vocalists. Opening for The Infamous Stringdusters is Horseshoes & Handgrenades. The show starts at 8pm (doors open at 7pm) on Thursday, January 25. Tickets start at $22. Dover Adult Learning Center has computer classes for the beginning to advanced student. Excel courses range from Basic Excel which covers creating, formatting, and saving spreadsheets, to Advanced Excel working with IF, COUNTIF, SUMIF, and other logical functions; all Excel classes run

Beginning and Intermediate Computer Literacy classes cover everything from the basics of operating a computer system to finding out how to apply those skills in the job market. QuickBooks Basics for Beginners will teach you to set up QuickBooks from the beginning; two 2-hour

Join us in helping to prevent our young people from getting involved in abusive relationships! We are looking for you to be our corporate partner In an educational video designed to help high school and college aged people avoid abusive relationships.
Sweaty Turtle Entertainment has been working with a local clinical psychologist whose expertise is in the treatment of survivors of domestic and sexual abuse, to craft a script showing some warning signs of a controlling and abusive relationship. This video project will be provided to schools, domestic violence support groups and others for use in their education and health programs throughout New Hampshire and beyond. Creative Director, Rick Dumont, has worked with survivors and victims for more than 24 years and has put together a team of some of the finest young performers in New England to bring this project to life.
