STATE BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT 
Friday, March 16 and Saturday, March 17


The High School Blue, High School White, Junior High Blue and Junior High Yellow teams have all qualified for the state tournament in Bloomington, IL. Players will be meeting at Cove Friday morning at 6:15 AM with a strict bus departure time of 6:30 AM. 

Players and  parents/guardians are staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bloomington. Please review the full itinerary and team schedules above for a comprehensive guide to the weekend. CAAEL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT 
Saturday, March 17 and Sunday, March 18

The High School Yellow team will be competing in the CAAEL Tournament at Robert Morris College, 2123 S Goebbert Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60005. Their schedule for the tournament is:
Saturday 3/17Game 1 at 12:45 PM on Court 4 vs. New Hope;  Game 2 at 2:00 PM on Court 5 vs. SEAL.
Sunday 3/18Game 1 at 11:30 AM on Court 4 vs. Frost; 
Game 2 at 12:45 PM on Court 3 vs. Frost; 3:00 Award Ceremony.

CAREER DAY
Thursday, March 22   
Cove students will be hearing from a wide array of professionals throughout the day about the skills and experience needed for different career paths. HIGH SCHOOL & EIGHTH GRADE SOCIAL EVENT

All high school and eighth grade students are invited for bowling, laser tag and food at Bowlero Bowling and Laser Zone in Buffalo Grove. Students will leave Cove at 3:30 PM and return to Cove at 7 PM. PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES 
Wednesday, March 28 and Thursday, March 29

Parent-teacher conferences will be going on from 8 AM to 8 PM on Wednesday and 8 AM to 4 PM on Thursday. High School students are expected to attend their conferences. There will be no school for students these days, as well as the rest of the week.

Cove's High School students will be performing their annual spring musical at 6:30 PM at Gorton Community Center in Lake Forest. They will be performing Disney's High School Musical. All are welcome! Save the date - details to come.

SPRING AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES  
  
Parents and guardians are encouraged to sign their students up for one or more of our amazing after school activities. There are activities for all interests, including mathematics, robotics, homework help, sports, music and so much more. Please note that parents are responsible for arranging transportation home from after school programs. This year we are ramping up our efforts to collect  Box Tops for Education, with a goal to earn $1000! Check out the Cove School Virtual Backpack for information about participating products ( click here), the new mobile app ( click here), and for collection sheets (optional to use). You can submit your  Box  Tops any time that you want, but our first BIG deadline is  February 23, 2018.
