Teaching Trainees alongside Jack Bishop
Participants in our Teaching Kitchen job training program were recently treated to a behind-the-scenes tour of America's Test Kitchen, which included participating in an audience taste-testing show taping! Trainees had the opportunity to meet Jack Bishop, pictured above, America's Test Kitchen Chief Creative Officer and taste-test extraordinaire. On air, Jack and his team led the studio audience in a taste test of supermarket staples like barbecue sauce and cheddar cheese. After the segment, trainees toured the new ATK facilities. "It was fun to see so many people experimenting with food," said one trainee.

The trainees were thrilled to get a firsthand look at the inner workings of one of the nation's top-rated cooking shows. Thank
you to our friends at America's Test Kitchen for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

Had the honor of volunteering today at @communityservings in Jamaica Plain. It's a great organization that provides food for people who are critically ill and their families. Food that's nutritious & made from scratch! @boston25d

Today we hosted some special guests for lunch & @chefkevin2015 beautifully prepared a feast for the eyes & taste buds. Lemony, broiled hake on a colorful bed of apple-squash purée & roasted brussel sprouts & radishes. While it certainly looks & tastes like a dish you'd find on the menu of a fine restaurant, it's also one we'd give to our clients. We aim to provide healthy meals that are beautiful & motivate our sick clients to eat. #FoodHeals #ChefLife
