New Adult Ed Series
The Ten Commandments: Laws of the Heart

The Adult Education group is starting a new video series:  The Ten Commandments - Laws of the Heart with Joan Chittister.  It promises to be an enlightening and refreshing look at some familiar scripture common to many religious traditions.  Sister Joan is one of our favorite speakers and is always clear and thought provoking.

This is a 12 week series (one per commandment plus a Prologue and Epilogue) starting Wednesday March 7 at 7:00pm and Sunday morning at 9:30 beginning on March 11.  We are a diverse group with a variety of opinions and experiences.  All are welcome.

If you have not been part of this group, now is a great time to start with the beginning of the Ten Commandments.  We hope to see you soon!

Worship Sneak Peek

Join us this Sunday (3/4) in worship as Rev. Christina Zito leads us as we continue our Lenten worship series - LISTEN. This Lent we will quiet things down and heighten our attention to the "still, small voice" of God and our own true self.

The Wisdom tradition within Christianity invites us to love knowledge, especially the self-knowledge that comes from examining ourselves in relationship to the liberating Word of God. What will we hear when we let go of what it all is "supposed to" mean and simply let it reside within us?

Upcoming Worship:
3/4 - Finding a Word: Listening to the Texts
3/11 - Finding Your Power: Listening for Healing
3/18 - Finding Your Mystic: Listening Beyond the Voices
3/25 - Finding Your Purpose: Listening to Your Heart (Palm Sunday)
The Sunday worship schedule is as follows:
  • 8:15 AM Traditional Worship in Chapel
    • Communion served weekly
  • 9:30 AM Traditional Worship in Sanctuary
    • Communion on the 1st Sunday of each month
  • 11:00 AM The Village Worship in Fellowship Hall
    • Communion on the 1st Sunday of each month
