Registration Continues
This Sunday, Jan. 21
This Sunday, register your young adults (18-24) for this year's Holy Comfort Box Program. In late February/early March each registered young adult living away from home (i.e., at college or in the military) will receive a gift box of "Holy Comfort" at his/her away-from-home address. This program is coordinated by ECW (Episcopal Church Women), in cooperation with several other parish groups. Bring your young adult's address with you to church and fill out a form to complete the process. Or download a Registration Form HERE to print and complete in advance. Return the completed form to the Holy Comfort Box table in the narthex, or email the information to Joni Langevoort. Questions? Please contact Joni Langevoort.

To You All Hearts Are Open
MUSIC
Choristers on the Road
Choristers on the Road
By Andrew Kelley, Intermediate Chorister

Last weekend I and the rest of the Choristers went on a trip to Immanuel on the Green in New Castle, Delaware. On this trip I learned new music, made new friends, met new people, and most importantly, had a lot of fun. On the trip I learned about other churches and how other choirmasters teach the choirs, I learned about the church and its history, and I learned about bells, and lots more. I think trips like these should be more frequent than not because they are fun, educational, and teach the choristers more about choral practices and singing in general. When we were singing at Immanuel on the Green, the church had a choir loft and a different type of organ. I and the rest of the choir thought singing in a different environment was really cool, and showed us things we could incorporate into Holy Comforter. Those are the reasons the last trip was fun, and I am looking forward to another trip.
