Green Team Tip: Collect Recyclables for a Future Chaparral Project!
Next year at Farmer’s Market we are going to be making tops and wind chimes from recycled materials. Please send bottle caps, water bottle lids, container lids and strings- from packaging, presents, twine pieces, etc. to Ms. Cioffi’s room 11. Our goal is to save things that would normally be thrown out and repurpose them into fun toys and works of art!
Wellness Team Tip: Eat Healthier at Home
Americans are eating out more than ever before. Almost have of every food dollar we spend goes to restaurants. A study by Johns Hopkins University found that people who make their own meals at home as infrequently as twice a week consume fewer calories, fats, sugars and more fiber than those who cook once per week or less, and save money!
