Honorable Dancer Program
Each year, South East Dance Academy is proud to have such a smart, educated group of students dance with us.   We know that education is very important at all stages of life, and we want to recognize those students who excel in their studies, and are part of their school's honor roll.  We feel that good grades are at the root of a dancer's success, and have thus created the distinguished group known as the "Honorable Dancers."
Here's how it works:  We only need to have ONE copy of your report card during a school year.  This must be an ALL "A" or "A & B" report card (or the equivalent of this based on the scoring of your school).  If your student(s) is enrolled in a "home-based" educational environment, please provide us with a report card that you can furnish yourself, as we want to honor ALL our great dancers.  Several report cards are distributed throughout the year, so you have several chances to become an "Honorable Dancer."  Towards the end of the school year, SEDA will present those distinguished student dancers with certificates at a special awards picnic.   We will provide the date, time and location in the spring.
The only way a student can be recognized as an Honorable Dancer is by their report card.  Please submit a copy of your report card to the studio office to get your award for this school year.  NO EXCEPTIONS.  Don't wait to make good grades... the last report card is usually given out after our April 30th deadline.
