Super Charge Your Non-Profit at a Free Master Marketing Workshop
On January 27 from 9-11 am, Noble Horizons will host a free marketing workshop with Red Barn Consulting CEO Cindy Donaldson.   Creating Your Narrative Platform  is a hands on, interactive class that offers specific tools and techniques to kick-start your non-profit's communications, mission branding and engagement. Workshop participants will learn marketing strategies that build awareness of a non-profit’s unique brand and mission as well as how to enhance existing relationships and build new ones.  On February 24, 9-11 am Cindy will offer a second free workshop on email marketing.  Registration for the free workshop is a www.noblehorizons.org   or 860 435 9553. Noble Horizons is located at  17 Cobble Road, Salisbury, CT
Using Old Art to Create New Art!
On Monday 2/12 and 2/19 from 10-11:30 am, fuel your creative and playful side while creating hands on projects with Green Art Workshops.   On February 12, design your own personalized puzzle with images and text harvested from old magazines and books. You will accessorize your hand-crafted collage puzzle with a storage box made with items such as wooden blocks and discarded game tiles will be a fun, interactive tabletop artwork to display or give as a gift.
On February 19, using paper ephemera and other found elements, create a miniature dream box that evokes a significant memory or place. Your ideas will become a surreal tableaux as you learn various assemblage techniques. 
The workshops will take place in the Community Room and are $10 each which includes instruction and all materials. Registration is at  www.noblehorizons.org  or  860-435-9851 .

Climate Change: Five Reasons to Be Optimistic About Our Future
On February 17 at 11 am, Noble Horizons welcomes Dr. Joshua R. Ginsberg, President of the Carey Institute of Ecosystem Studies in Millbrook, New York.  Dr. Ginsberg will present, “Climate Change: Five Reasons to Be Optimistic About Our Future.” 
Dr. Ginsberg’s career in conservation science spans 35 years and several continents. After earning his B.S. from Yale University and Ph.D. from Princeton University, he joined the Wildlife Conservation Society where as Director of Asia and Pacific Programs he managed projects in 17 Asian countries. Dr. Ginsberg has been an adjunct professor at Columbia University since 1998 and has helped manage Columbia’s Center for Environmental Research and Conservation. 
Dr. Ginsberg has been a Research Fellow at Oxford University and currently serves on the boards of the Ocean Foundation, the Open Space Institute, and the Catskill Mountain keeper. He is also a member of the advisory council of the American Museum of Natural History's Center for Biodiversity and Conservation. Registration for Dr. Ginsberg's free program is at www.noblehorizons.org or 860-435-9851.
