Training Information

This presentation will cover the basics of advance directives for seniors and will train you on how to give presentations at senior centers throughout Brooklyn through the National Grid Foundation Senior Legal Education and Assistance Program (NGF Senior LEAP).  We will cover the importance of advance medical directives, advance financial directives, and strategies for staying at home and aging in place.  

Earn 2 CLE credits.

Your Commitment

This course is FREE to those who volunteer at least 6 hours at NGF Senior LEAP clinics through the Brooklyn Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project before August 27, 2018. Experienced attorneys receive additional CLE credit for every 2 hours of eligible pro bono service.  The cost is $150 for attorneys who do not wish to volunteer.
