A Construction Boom is Shaping Up for 2018
All signs and numbers point to a huge year for the construction industry. Even in December, with much of the nation frozen, the  construction industry added 30,000 jobs , according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. For all of 2017, construction added 210,000 jobs, a 35 percent increase over 2016. Read more .

Philip Goff Obituary

It is with sadness we share the news that Phil Goff passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. Phil was true to the lumber industry, and always showed his sales force that the lumber Industry played a huge part in Delden's success.
 
Joe Rethford, Delden Mfg., recalls, "I have fond memories of being on the road with Phil. When he walked into a yard that he had worked with for years, the smiles and handshakes that went out to him. Also the stories they shared made me realize he believed in the local lumberyards."

Another 103 store closings for Sears… Sears Holdings reported today that it will close another 103 stores this spring. The troubled retailer said it will shut down 64 Kmart locations and 39 Sears stores by April of this year. Another 63 closings, announced last year, are scheduled to be completed by the end of January. Read more .
