Celebrity Bartender Event to Benefit Friendship Centers in Charlotte County
On Tuesday, March 6, 2018, from 5-7 p.m., please join Punta Gorda Chamber President, John Wright, at Perch 360 - a beautiful rooftop bar at the Wyvern Hotel - for a fundraiser to benefit the programs of Friendship Centers in Charlotte County. Wright will be joined by mixologist extraordinaire Yolanda Baez, who will offer up her signature Basil Martinis.

Due to the expected sell-out crowd, the Punta Gorda Chamber will be pre-selling tickets at $30 per person. Given the roof's limited capacity, pre-registration will be required. Of the ticket price, $20 per person will be earmarked for the Friendship Centers in Charlotte County. The remaining $10 will go towards your first martini/drink. Perch 360 will also have a menu of small plates available for purchase and will be offering a fixed-price dinner option in their downstairs restaurant, 88 Keys (which will require an advance separate reservation). To purchase your tickets, call the Chamber at 941.639.3720.

Join us for Lee County's annual fundraiser, Thursday, March 15, 2018. This year the event will be held at The Shell Factory, 2787 N Tamiami Trail, North Ft. Myers.

The annual luncheon is held as a fundraiser for the Lee County Friendship Center Adult Day Program, which provides socialization and care for seniors with physical and cognitive challenges and gives respite to the family and care partners. The event is targeted to generate awareness about Alzheimer's disease, dementia and other memory/physical disabilities and how it impacts caregivers.

The event will offer guest speakers from the community, a fashion show, a silent auction, and a photo exhibit created by the clients of the day program. The event will be capped off by a scrumptious buffet with delicious sweets. To learn more or to purchase tickets, please call

Former Medical Provider, Dr. Howard Freedman, Hosts Club Celebration
The
Naples Lions Club recently celebrated its 80th birthday at The Quarry Country Club. The event host was Dr. Howard Freedman, who is a 40-year member of Lions Club International and was a volunteer provider at the Senior Friendship Health Center in Naples for many years. Senator Kathleen Passidomo (District 28) was the keynote speaker and an honorary member. Her parents were volunteers at SFHC when it opened in 1985 in the chapel in downtown Naples and they served for over 10 years. Passidomo presented A Florida Senator's Proclamation tribute of recognition to the Naples Lions Club members who have given so generously to Collier County over the last 80 years.

A helping hand for generations to come

The  Friendship Centers' Legacy Society recognizes compassionate people who have thoughtfully included the Senior Friendship Centers Foundation, Inc. in their estate planning and have informed us in writing of their plans.

Every Legacy gift helps to sustain the Friendship Centers and grow core programs and services for older adults in the communities we serve.  Legacy Society members are able to see the fruits of their gifts, in their lifetimes. They are honored and recognized for their generosity  on a permanent plaque in our Legacy Corners, at an annual Legacy Reception and at special events throughout the year.

Let us help you design a gift in perpetuity that reflects your values.
