We cannot delude ourselves: by our mutual love and, in particular, by our concern for those in need, we will be recognized as true followers of Christ. (cf. Jn 13:35; Mt 25:31-46).
This will be the criterion by which the authenticity of our Eucharistic celebrations is judged.
-St. Pope John Paul II, Mane Nobiscum Domine, No. 28

The song is the first activity of the community gathered in Christ, who is present when the Church prays and sings
(Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy #7). "If singing is a cross to you, take it up, and you will find it a blessing. Sing lustily and with a good courage"
(Preface to Sacred Melody, John Wesley).

Sometimes parishioners ask if Baby Basics accepts partial packs of diapers; we answer with a resounding "yes". We have babies of all sizes and almost 50 children in the program. The next time you are shopping why not pick up a pack of diapers for Baby Basics? With a simple pack of diapers you are giving hope to low-income working families in our neighborhood. Please mark the diapers for Baby Basics & leave them at the front office. Thank you!

I was wondering if you could help me? I attend mass regularly and usually sit in the same area every week. I am often seated behind a family with children. Two of the three children are very well mannered and follow along with the prayers of the mass well. The third child, who seems older than the other two, is always moving some part of his body and is very distracted. READ MORE
