A Warm Welcome

"Sasha and I started visiting Rosa International Middle School in Cherry Hill, NJ in January of 2018. We visit with two special needs classes. The children have varying degrees of autism and developmental issues. The teachers are amazing, giving, patient, and diligent."

"When we arrive at the school everyone is delighted to see Sasha. The children are becoming more comfortable with her each visit. It is an amazing process to witness. While some were totally afraid or a little hesitant, others jumped right in. By our third visit, everyone was petting and brushing Sasha."

"Above is a bulletin board that the school created to welcome PAWS. The artwork was created and colored by the students that Sasha visits."

Jenni, Jamie, & Beau Brand
Jenni joined PAWS in September of 2012 with her Chocolate Lab, Beau. As an Advanced team, they visit at the Cottages. Jenni has introduced her son, Jamie, to pet therapy, too! Jenni, Jamie, and Beau  participate in many Community Events. Jenni is also a PAWS Board member and First Visit Assistant. What a great team!

Patsy Cress & Jazzy
Patsy and her gorgeous German Shepherd, Jazzy (formally knows as Jasmine Rose of Parsons Patch), joined PAWS in June of 2016. As an Advanced team, Patsy and Jazzy visit at Union Hospital of Cecil County and at Rising Sun Elementary School through the Cecil County Department of Social Services. They are also a PAWS for Reading team and visit at Conowingo Elementary School, Havre de Grace Library, Oxford Feed & Lumber, and Rising Sun Library. Patsy also supports new PAWS members as a First Visit Assistant. What a PAWSome team!
