WCPE Helping Nursing Homes Improve
Quality improvement sounds great, but how can you make it work in your nursing home? Where do you start? How can you tell if it worked? And how do you sustain the gains?
Through a grant funded by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services Civil Money Penalty (CMP) project, the Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence is teaming up with area experts to offer a FREE program to help nursing homes identify areas for improvement and then create and implement a plan to make changes toward their quality improvement goals. This program is specifically geared to 1 and 2-star nursing homes.
Experienced quality improvement coaches will introduce different tools and help staff understand how to use these tools to improve resident care and enhance quality of life in their nursing home. And we'll help track and celebrate successes, too.
Kick off meetings start in February.
