40 Days for Life
The Respect Life Ministry is asking parishioners to volunteer 1 hour of prayer time there on Fri. Mar 9th and Sat. Mar 10th for an end to abortion and healing for those who've had one.
There will be sign up sheets at a table in the gathering space this weekend Mar. 3rd & 4th
______________________________________
Ash Wednesday was the start of another 40 Days for Life prayer vigil. This is a time to fast, pray, and witness at abortion facilities for an end to abortion. Not only do we need to pray for the mothers, unborn babies and the facility workers, but we need to pray for our elected officials. Did you know that just recently a bill, called the Pain Capable Bill, which would have made it illegal to perform abortions on unborn babies after the 20th week of gestation failed to pass in the Senate? This bill was proposed because it is a scientific fact that these unborn babies can feel pain during abortion procedures. Among the senators who voted against this bill, 14 claim to be Catholic. They need our prayers asking that God will find a way to change their hearts. Please join us the weekend of March 9th and 10th as our parish members pray outside of the Saint Paul Planned Parenthood facility. Please sign up for a one hour shift. Pray that this terrible loss of innocent life will stop.

Darts Bus Drivers...
Every weekend, St. Joseph's brings our parishioners to the 10:30 am Liturgy. Please take a moment to think about driving a Darts 15 passenger bus so that we can continue to offer this ministry for our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. NOTE: you do not need a special license or school bus endorsement, a class D basic license is all that is required.
If you are interested and/or have questions, please contact Don Flach at 651322.7271 (Roughly once every 4-6 weeks.)
