2017-2018 CCC VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT: WILLIAM CAMERON
William Cameron, Chesapeake Conservation Corps 2017-18
The EFC Staff is excited to welcome William Cameron (shown left), one of TWO new Chesapeake Conservation Corps Volunteers for 2017-2018.

William graduated from the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore in August 2017, where he studied Environmental Policy and Economics.  While at the EFC, William will be working to support the Sustainable Maryland program.  This will include editing the monthly newsletters, reviewing and editing the SM Action Menu, and assisting with outreach events targeting new SM Communities.

The goal of William's Capstone project will be to expand the current Action categories and list of sustainable Actions to introduce a higher, Silver Action tier of the SM certification.

William is a former Boy Scout with an intense love of camping, kayaking, and Stevie Wonder.  His dream job would be working as a Park Ranger who can talk to animals.

Look forward to meeting our next CCC member, Marcus Glomset, in the December newsletter!
