Local Option Sales and Service Tax (LOSST) Information- Vote March 6th!
During a special election on Tuesday, March 6, Polk County residents will vote on a countywide referendum for a one-cent local option sales tax. Windsor Heights could receive $900,000 annually if it passes.

Windsor Heights Ballot language reads: 
No less than 50% of such revenues to be allocated for property tax relief and 50% of such revenues for purposes including infrastructure, but not limited to, street improvements, sanitary sewer improvements, storm water improvements, municipal buildings, recreational/sports complexes, community center, trails, parks, arts, cultural amenities, and for other public uses the city deems appropriate.

The Windsor Heights Chamber of Commerce will host a meeting on Local Option Sales and Service Tax (LOSST) on February 26th. Please attend to learn more about LOSST.  The meeting will be held at Council Chambers, 1133 66th Street, Windsor Heights IA 50324 .


2018 Pet License
It's time to register your pets for 2018. All pet owners must register their animals between January 1st through March 31st. A copy of your pet's current rabies certificate is required for a new or renewal license. The fee for a neutered animals is $20. The fee for a non-neutered animals is $30. Pet Licenses are available at the Windsor Heights Public Safety Building located at 1133 66th Street. The 2018 Pet License Application is available on the Windsor Heights website at http://www.windsorheights.org/DocumentCenter/View/412.
