The son and grandson of plumbers, Mario Bélisle, founder of Riobel, was himself one for more than a quarter of a century. It was evident that Mario's customers were appreciative of the high-quality and functionality of his products and sales quickly grew. The company moved to its current location in 2002, just 7 years after launching, and Riobel as we know it was born.
With seasoned and devoted professionals, Riobel soon reached new heights. Riobel’s designers, engineers and technicians work on creating innovative products: they develop 3D models, test faucets on various test benches and at the technical centre. They analyze competing products to ensure that Riobel products are always a notch above in appearance and functionality. After the design and intensive testing phases, these products are sent to the assembly, packaging and distribution teams.
In 2016, Fortune Brands Home and Security acquired Riobel and helped further develop the US markets. So, Riobel products are making their way into a growing number of commercial and residential buildings throughout North America.
What Riobel is today is the result of one man’s passion which was passed on so that the next generation could continue his quest for quality, pursuit of excellence and desire to keep innovating where product design and functionality are concerned.

The Swan Story
For more than 50 years, Swan has been a leader in creating innovative and affordable solid surfacing products. It started in 1964, with the introduction of the Swan Shell Shower, a doorless, shell-shaped shower. Decades later, we introduced Swanstone, a revolutionary and compression-molded solid surface material. Since then, our Swanstone line expanded to include a wide variety of kitchen sinks, countertops, bath and shower walls and more.

Every shower enclosure is manufactured with durable, quality materials. Frames are made of hardened aluminum undergoing an exclusive heat treatment for lasting beauty. The process prevents bending and protects the surface against scratches.
Performance Features
Basco's unique Sta-Kleen track is standard on all sliding doors. The mechanism prevents dirt buildup while keeping water securely within the enclosure. Our swing doors have innovative drip systems and seals to keep water in the shower and off the bathroom floor.
Distinctive Hardware
Door pulls, handles, and towel bars are 30 percent heavier than other brands. All of our hardware is available in our variety of quality finishes.
Glass Options
Basco offers the industry's largest variety of glass options. They're offered in a variety of styles from the open look of clear to the distinctive patterns of rain, etched, fluted or beveled glass. We were the first to use safety-tempered glass, and we continue to provide our customers with this feature, which is five times stronger than ordinary glass.
Complimentary Color
Our finish color options are designed to complement today's most popular faucet and bath hardware. The palette is as diverse as our customer's preferences. From classic silver to the more rustic antique pewter, Basco has a color to transform a bathroom into a spa-like escape. We use our trademark finishing system, Bascoat, to protect the enclosure's luster and shine. This process bakes on a polyester resin, creating an impenetrable moisture shield.
