If you've been on the ramp in the past two weeks or so, you've probably noticed that a vehicle lane has been striped along the edge of the pavement. Any time you need to drive on the ramp in your vehicle, we ask that you utilize these new lanes.
By concentrating vehicle traffic to this area, we hope to increase safety along the ramp for taxiing aircraft.
A few things to keep in mind:
- The speed limit is 15 MPH as marked on the pavement.
- There are "STOP" bars in several places along the length of the road. These have been strategically placed near areas where taxiing aircraft frequently cross. Please come to a full stop and look for planes prior to continuing.
- Customers, employees, and visitors may be unfamiliar with these new rules. Please spread the word so that we can avoid any confusion!
