Buy it. Fix it. Keep it. with NHS of Greater Cleveland

Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Cleveland (NHS), the only licensed nonprofit lender in Ohio, is offering home repair loans of up to $60,000 for qualified applicants, and neither credit score nor current home equity are determinants. Projects range from a new roof or driveway to installation of accommodations for seniors or the disabled. NHS will work with applicants to accommodate their specific financial situations, including multiple term and payment options. All loans are originated, underwritten, and serviced through NHS.

To help borrowers ensure quality and legitimacy of repair work, NHS provides construction management services to make sure safety comes first and all needs are met. March is ideal to undertake repairs or renovations. Contractors have greater availability now, and borrowers are more likely to secure the time frame that works best. Not sure how to select a contractor or where to begin? Contact Mary Nighswander to discuss your needs at 216-458-4663 or [email protected].

Delivery begins next week, but read the winter issue of Kamm's Corners Magazine online right now, here. If you've been seeing red as you drive along the Metroparks Valley Parkway recently, it could be due to the new coat of red paint on the historic Tyler Barn, previously thought of as "the old green barn." See our story on page 6 for a history of the barn and the tale behind its new color. The cover photo was taken by Joe Outlaw on December 13.
