Educating for Careers Conference

In just a few short days, over 2500 educators will convene at the Sacramento Convention Center for the Educating for Careers Conference...and ITEP is on the agenda, hosting a session!

Educating for Careers Conference is an annual three-day professional development event (March 4-6) surrounding career technical education (CTE) with a variety of delivery systems and strategies represented in more than 170 breakout sessions. ITEP's session titled "Swipe Right: Attracting and Keeping Your Business Partners," invites educators to learn how to successfully woo business partners and get the most swipes...because we all know starting and building effective industry relationships requires more than charm and good looks.

ITEP
offers technical assistance and consulting services to schools and districts who wish to expand their partner networks ! For more information, please contact Nicole Martin Huezo, Senior Program Manager, at [email protected].

It's that time of year again - ITEP Internship Program!

Every year, ITEP prepares and places over 130 students at job sites, just like yours, to get a first-hand experience of the skills and expectations that it takes to be successful on the job.

We're excited to announce that our 2018 Internship Program features the largest group of interns to date, with over 200 students participating, and it is our honor to introduce to you our new Program Manager, Internship and Outreach, Eunice Gonzalez!

Please help us create another life-changing summer for our ITEP interns by hosting an intern - or perhaps two ! To request an intern, simply complete our  Internship Request Form  and submit it to Eunice directly at  [email protected] .

Thank you to all 50 event volunteers and sponsors for helping us inspire the next generation of STEM leaders! This event would not have been possible without the support of our event sponsors,  The Boeing Company and United Way, and our event partner Los Angeles Harbor College - thank you!

With your gift today, ITEP students will gain the skills and confidence needed to become tomorrow's leaders.
