PUBLIC TRANSIT STEERING COMMITTEE
Public Feedback Survey Launched Today !!

As a member of the  Huron Shores Transit Committee , the Chamber together with 16 representatives from the Grand Bend Community Health Centre, Lambton County, Sarnia-Lambton Workforce Development Board, Kettle & Stony Point First Nation, the municipalities of Bluewater, South Huron and North Middlesex, local businesses and private citizens have been making progress investigating the options of bringing public transit to this area.

The Huron Shores Transit initiative is surveying the level of interest and need for a community transportation service, covering Bluewater, Kettle & Stony Point, Lambton Shores, North Middlesex and South Huron with possible links to Sarnia and London. The types of service may include regular-route service, call-in service, accessible vans, tourist service and connecting links to taxi, health care and other service provider services.

Would public transit it help you get around? Would it help employees get to your location to work?

The survey results will be used to develop a feasibility study and determine what additional grants may be available to fund the initiative.
