Families Enjoy the Town's Second Annual Winter Holiday Celebration
On Friday, December 8th, the Town partnered with South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center and Miami-Dade County Commissioner Daniella Levine Cava to host the Winter Holiday Celebration. Friends and families were presented with a number of ways to enjoy the night, including story time with Commissioner Levine-Cava, food trucks, pictures with Santa, snowman crafts, fresh popcorn and a Christmas movie.

Mayor Bell Hosts 2017 State of the Town Address
On Monday, December 11, 2017 Mayor Peggy R. Bell hosted the 2017 State of the Town Address at Town Hall. The theme for the evening was "Together Cutler Bay". The Mayor highlighted the many ways that the Town Council, Town Staff, residents, and community partners work contribute to the overall success of this community.

South Dade Elected Officials Take a Ride on the Transit Way Sleigh
On Wednesday, December 20th, South Miami-Dade Transit Way/Metrorail commuters got a dose of holiday cheer when Santa (Palmetto Bay Mayor Eugene Flinn), Mrs. Claus (Cutler Bay Mayor Peggy Bell), and a very busy and hardworking mass transit Elf (Miami-Dade Commissioner Daniella Levine Cava) boarded their Transit Way sleigh and head to downtown Miami departing from the Transit Way at the Park and Ride at 20500 SW 112th Avenue.

Cutler Bay Encourages Residents to Plant Florida Friendly Trees
As residents and local municipalities across the State of Florida recover from the loss of trees following Hurricane Irma, the Town of Cutler Bay hopes to inspire the planting of Florida Friendly Trees. This new initiative was made possible by a FY2016 Urban and Community Forestry Grant through the United States Forest Service.

2017 Grinchbusters Reduce Crime 27% Townwide!
The Town's Police Department takes a proactive community policing approach to keeping Cutler Bay safe. This is especially important during the holiday season. The Department's annual "Grinchbuster Detail" has been successful in deterring crimes of opportunity throughout the Town, while also reinforcing a positive interaction with residents. The operation commenced on Thursday, November 23, 2017, and concluded on Sunday, January 7, 2018.

The Town and Miami-Dade Police Department utilize CrimeMapping to help law enforcement provide the public with valuable information about recent crime activity in their neighborhoods. Community on Patrol (COP) App
The Town and Miami-Dade Police Department offer the Community on Patrol (COP) App to allow the residents of Miami-Dade to be on patrol in their neighborhoods and report any suspicious activity to the Town's Policing Unit. The COP App can be downloaded for free in the iTunes Store or Google Play by searching "Community on Patrol"

Nextdoor is a website that makes it easy to communicate with your neighbors about the issues that matter most in your community. The website allows neighbors to share recommendations about local services, organize neighborhood events and connect with parents and other groups in the neighborhood. Miami-Dade Transit Tracker
Miami-Dade County Transit, which updates the Town's Circulator Bus Service, encourages you to utilize the Miami-Dade Transit Tracker App to help track your ride and plan your trip. The program allows riders to attain real-time tracking of the Town's Municipal Circulator, Metrobus and Metrorail. The App also provides fare information, Miami-Dade Transit contacts, bus schedules, and connecting buses.
