Hot Breakfast
Breakfast this coming Sunday, March 4, will be provided by guest chefs, Rick & Mason Rummel.

Please plan on joining everyone in Board Hall between 8:30am and 9:45 where you will not only enjoy great food but a time for fellowship.

Confirmation Class
A new Inquirer's Class will begin on Wednesday, March 14th in Board Hall, from 6:45 - 8:00pm.  There will be 11 sessions in the series, covering everything from prayer to the Bible to why we worship the way we worship and much, much more - including answers to whatever questions you might have about God and the life of faith.

If you'd like to be Confirmed, Received into The Episcopal Church, or make a Public Profession of the Christian Faith, when Bishop White makes his annual visitation on Sunday, June 3rd, this course is a necessary preparation to receive one of those sacramental rites.

If you have questions, please contact Father Michael,
[email protected] .

Adult Formation Hour during the Lenten Season
Lectio Divina - "Holy or Divine reading" - is an ancient Christian practice of scriptural reading, meditation, and prayer intended to promote communion with God and to increase personal knowledge of God's word.

Please join Reverend Shelley and Jon Siegrist between the services on the Sundays of Lent and Palm Sunday to learn the history and methodology of this practice and explore different variations of Lectio that may help deepen your spirituality and bring new meaning to the Lenten season
.

Easter Lily Memorials
If you would like to help beautify our church for Easter with Easter lilies, please send a check to the office or drop it into the offering plate. The price per potted lily is $10.20. (please write flower fund on the memo line of your check). They are hardy for this climate and can be planted outside when they are finished blooming.

The deadline for ordering is Sunday, March 18, in order to get your memorial in print
. Envelopes for the special memorials are located at both narthex entrance tables.

Easter Music Memorials
You may make a memorial donation to the St. Luke's music program (please write Music Memorial on the memo line of your check).

The deadline for placing your memorial is Sunday, March 18
, in order to get your memorial in print though you may make a donation at any time.

Envelopes for the special memorials are located at both narthex entrance tables.

St. Luke's Book Club
YOU ARE INVITED to St Luke's Book Club on March 13 at 6:30. Our book selection for March is Same Kind of Different As Me written by two men: Ron Hall, an international art dealer, and Denver Moore, an illiterate, homeless black man, one of the slaves of today sleeping under overpasses or somewhere. An astounding true story with each of the above recounting their unlikely bonding instigated and encouraged by Ron's wife, Debbie, a wonderful, lady who bound them together.

MEETING INFO : Lyman House, March 13, SECOND (2nd) Tuesday monthly at 6:30 PM for 2+- hours of rousing conversations and introductions to books of almost every genre. At the end of each meeting, we discuss books for the next month's selection, so bring your suggestions with you.

Stations of the Cross & Soup Supper
On Wednesday, March 21 at 6pm, the DOK will sponsor our annual Stations of the Cross in the church followed by a soup supper in Board Hall.  Everyone is welcome!

Daughters of the King membership
All women who are interested in exploring becoming members of Daughters of the King, an international organization of women and girls in the Episcopal, Lutheran, Anglican, and Catholic churches, please contact Caroline Eddleman at 253-0135 or [email protected] .

Decorating for Easter
The flower guild will be decorating the church on Saturday, March 31, at 9am.

Everyone is invited to help. Please join us as it is a gratifying and fun time.

Undecorating the church will take place on Sunday,
April 15, following the 10am service.

You may pick up your lilies in the parish hall at that time. Remember, they are hardy and can be planted outside.

AN OPEN WELCOME

That's not only the name of our capital campaign but it is fundamental to our mission as a parish. We are a community open to all and a community that genuinely welcomes all. Six of our member families are demonstrating that spirit of openness by hosting a party gathering in their homes (see below for the schedules). There are several offerings over several weeks and in several locations. One should fit your schedule. You are not only welcome but encouraged to attend. Please just notify the host of your interest in attending their campaign informational and inspirational gathering. Since refreshments are being served, each host wishes to have plenty for all who wish to come.  May God grant our church great success in our mission endeavors together.
