More new clubs start this week! 2 new Block of the Month clubs begin; Quilter's Dream Club will be working on "A New Age", and we will begin work on Kim Diehl's "Pride and Joy". Both fun projects made with beautiful fabrics.
This coming weekend is our first In-Store retreat of 2018. Come for the laughter, conversation, food, and quilting! A good time is had by all.
I wanted to add a little bit of trivia for this day in history, but it is a day that didn't have a whole lot of interesting things going on. At least none that were kind of lighthearted. One thing I found interesting was this little tid-bit: It was on January 17th, 1949 that the first Volkswagen Beetle (The Peoples Car) in the U.S. arrived from Germany. I imagine that there are many of you have owned a VW Beetle over the years since they first arrived in the US! You still see many of them on the road.
Come on by and see our new fabrics and the beautiful samples hanging on our walls. Pictures don't do them justice. Thanks for your continued support. We wouldn't be here without you!

1:00 - 2:30: Hand Embroidery Club

This club meets the first and third Wednesday of each month. Debbie Benewich is the leader and is there to help you with your projects, as well as teach you new tricks for coloring and stitching your embroidery. The cost is $10.00 per session.

1:00 - 2:30 OR 6:30 - 8:00: Quilter's Dream Club

This group meets the 3^rd Thursday of each month. It's a new year so we will be beginning "A New Age"; a 13 part block of the month pattern that uses New Age Muslins by Marcus Fabrics. Join in the fun at any time! Call the store for additional information about this club project.

Friday 1/19/18

10:00 - Midnight: In-Store Retreat - Day 1

All the fun of a retreat but you get to sleep in your own bed. Bring your unfinished projects, or start something new. Have fun quilting with others. $65.00 includes 2 continental breakfasts, 2 dinners, and lots of fun!

This class is NOT limited to current 101 students--

open to all who want to learn the

basics of pin pasting your quilt top, and stitching in the ditch on your home sewing machine. Class is 2 sessions, with the second session held on Monday 1/29 at the same time. Teacher: Sandy Hill. Cost is $20.00

This is the 2nd session of this 2-session class.

5:00 - 10:00: Open Sew

This is a weekly event. Bring a project to work on. Jackie and Sharon will be available to help you if needed. We order something for dinner, or you can bring your own. Cost $10.00 + dinner.
