'Tis the season to be appreciative. What highlights come to mind this week?

Today I'll be lunching in good company with many of you for East Side Lunch Bunch at Alimama's Mediterranean Grill .

I'll be toasting the businesses that stepped forward to put us on the Map (20 of you!) for our partnership with Visit Saint Paul. And right on time, VSP published a little blog about Payne Ave as an Eat Street for St. Paul. We'll have a chance to sample a little of that along with holiday cheer next week at PABA's Holiday shindig at Brunson's.

In non-eating news, we celebrate Women Venture who has joined the group at the East Side Enterprise Center to support small business development and the Port Authority who is working to get everyone on the ice.

What other highlights come to mind for 2017? At our December Monthly Member Meeting we're bringing them forward. Get a jump by nominating your choice for Business of the Year. W e'll enter you to win a little something special to help with holiday shopping. Yes. 'Tis the gift card season... yet another thing to add to your list.

St. Paul Port Authority Seeking Partners

Equity on Ice Fundraising event - Wednesday, January 31 from 6-9PM

Volunteers Wanted

All funds raised will be directed to the Equity on Ice Fund, to ensure all Saint Paul youth have equitable access to TRIA Rink at Treasure Island Center. Volunteer opportunities include greeters/check-in assistants, concession sales and fundraising games. If interested, contact Laurie Siever at las@sppa.com by December 15, 2017 .
