Prohibition of Self-Serve Mini Storage Use in C-3 SR-305 Commercial Corridor Zoning District
The Poulsbo City Council passed Ordinance 2017-15 on August 16, 2017.  This ordinance established a six-month interim development prohibition on self-serve mini storage facilities in the C-3 zoning district.  Pursuant to RCW 35A.63.220 and 36.70A.390, the City Council is authorized to extend the interim development prohibition as long as a public hearing is held and findings of fact are made.  The public hearing on February 7, 2018 will be the opportunity for the City Council to hear public comment, consider extending the interim prohibition, and adopt an ordinance.

Hearing Information:  The public hearing will provide an opportunity for public comment before the City Council.  Additionally, the public may comment in writing.  Written comments may be submitted any time prior to and at the public hearing to the Poulsbo City Clerk, at 200 NE Moe Street, Poulsbo, WA, or in person at City Hall.

All interested people are invited to attend the hearing.  If you are unable to attend, your written comments, received no later than the date and time scheduled for the hearing, will be given careful consideration by the City Council and made a part of the record.

Central Interceptor CIPP Project
The City has approximately 4,962 feet of sewer pipe in need of rehabilitation. A cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) is one of the most widely used rehabilitation methods used to repair existing pipelines. The CIPP is installed through manholes with less disruption to the public. This project is underway with the cleaning and videoing of the existing pipe completed. Installation of the first Phase of liner from Tollefson to Nordness has just been completed. Phase II, completing the liner installation to Johnson Way NE, will take place in February 2018.
