Lenten Group Study
Final Words
This year's Lenten Study is based upon Adam Hamilton's book, Final Words, and will focus on Jesus' seven last words meant in context of Jesus' experience and what they mean relative to our lives today.
Beginning the week of February 12th, groups will meet for 7 weeks, focusing on those seven words - one each week. Each session will begin with a short video to start the group discussion for that week.
This year, there are 7 locations/times available - hoping to provide a convenient time and place for everyone. There is an $18 requested donation covering the cost of the book and the DVD.
Click
here for the Registration Form. Mark which Time & Place you'd like to attend, fill in your Contact Information and place in the offering plate on Sunday or drop it by the church office. (In case there aren't enough people signed up for a particular location, please mark a 2nd and 3rd choice to help ensure you becoming part of a study group.)
We hope you find this opportunity to study a meaningful experience during this season of Lent.

UMW - Annual Rummage Sale
Friday, March 2nd & Saturday, March 3rd
Do you have the winter blahs? Do you wish the sun would stay out a bit longer?
Are you tired of being stuck inside? Well here's a suggestion to distract you from
the doldrums....Remember the Rummage Sale!
Search that closet, dig around in the garage, explore those cupboards and
discover things that you haven't used in years. We need those forgotten treasures from attics, boxes, cupboards, bookshelves, and assorted hiding places. If you are not using it anymore, and you want it OUT OF YOUR HOUSE, pass it along to Morningside Women's annual Rummage Sale, the week of February 25.
Really, if you don't want it maybe someone else does! Think of the benefits - the customer finds a treasure, your place is fresh and tidy, and Morningside has the donations for missions and kitchen remodeling!
Want to get out more? Consider joining us the week of February 25, as we we prepare for this important fundraiser. Come join us, it's fun.
Remember, starting February 25th, after the 10:00 service, you can bring your donations to Herrmann Hall.
