Business leaders participate in the 2nd Annual Principal for a Day program.

The Thomson-McDuffie Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2nd Annual Principal for a Day program the week of January 9th - 12th.  This program was sponsored by Ellefson Transportation Group.  The "Principal For A Day" project is designed to bring community leaders into schools from across the county to: Increase awareness among individuals in the business community of the strengths and challenges in McDuffie County schools; Demonstrate the employers commitment to ensuring a quality public education for all students; and form ongoing partnerships between individuals/businesses and McDuffie County.   more

The  Thomson-McDuffie County Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a career fair for the  Thomson-McDuffie community. 

The Jan. 23rd career fair, was held at the Thomson Depot, and allowed students and their parents, veterans and the general public a chance to learn more about employers in the area. more

The Chamber Ambassadors introduced a new program, "Business of the Week".  Business of the Week is an opportunity for the Chamber members to showcase their business and their commitment to making McDuffie County a great place to live, work, and play.
