MARDI GRAS GUIDANCE SHEET
Contains information regarding: Classroom decorations, Parade and dismissal procedures.  HERE

We are so excited about the Patton Mardi Gras Parade!  This year's theme is  Joyeux Anniversaire NOLA - 300 and the kids are working hard on their costumes with their classes! If you have not signed up to volunteer or donate a King Cake or art supplies to the class, please do now, if you are able!

This year's celebration will be a bit different, timing-wise. The kids will enjoy their King Cakes BEFORE the parade to make pick up AFTER the parade run more smoothly. If you are donating a King Cake to the class you must bring it in, LABELED with your child's teachers name on Friday, February 9th at School Drop Off. Staff members will grab the cakes from you during the Drop Off.

KREWE DU LYCEE
Grandparents Celebration - As is tradition, we will celebrate our grandparents before the parade at the St. Paul's Fellowship Hall, right next door to the Patton campus.  Grandparents are invited to arrive at 1pm, eat a slice of King Cake and have a glass of sparkling wine, and then watch the parade at 1:30 PM. We kindly ask that grandparents arrive at 1:00 PM and not much earlier as we need the morning to make preparations. (In the past some people have arrived an entire hour early which makes it tricky for us to set up!)

PARADE ROUTE
We are reverting back to our original, shorter route since we will only have one school marching this year.  The students will start on Patton, turn left on Eleonore, left on Constance, left on State and return to Patton. The parade will begin promptly at 1:30 PM and is expected to be over at 2:15 PM.

SCHOOL PICK UP PROCEDURES
Attached please find the Pick Up Procedures in the Mardi Gras Guidance Sheet: HERE.

JOHNSON DISMISSAL
Parents who wish to check out their children from Johnson beginning at 1:00 PM to attend the Patton parade can do so without an infraction.
