SENIOR SPOTLIGHT

Noura D.

Noura has already been accepted to 7 of the colleges
she applied to!

1. What has been the best part of senior year so far?
The best part has been finishing the college application process and getting accepted into my top college.

2. What has been the most surprising part of the college application process?
I was surprised by the number of things we had to look at and fill out.  Plus all the financial aid papers we had to fill out.

3. What are you interested in studying in college?
I am interested in studying nutrition related to sports.

4.  What have you learned about applying for scholarships?
You can't just fill out the papers and hope that you'll get money, you have to "deserve" it.  S cholarships should not be your Plan A for how to pay for college because you don't get some answers until July, so you can't really count on them.

5.  Noura's advice for Juniors in CollegeTracks:
Don't stress! Try making a table to organize your colleges and the different things they offer.
