The President's Kitchen Cabinet
, an informative and entertaining journey through the history of presidential food. A former White House special assistant to President Bill Clinton, Adrian will focus on the African American cooks for Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Harrison, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Lyndon Johnson.
Adrian Miller is an attorney, certified barbecue judge and food writer. He's the author of
Soul Food: The Surprising Story of an American Cuisine, One Plate at a Time

Dear members, both new and old -- let's get to know each other better! Let's see if we can get some real bonding happening.
Among other things, we'd love to hear more of your/our individual "life stories." This helps us launch conversations with each other later...come join the fun.
It'll be an informal evening of homemade hearty winter soup, bread/butter & crackers, with liquid refreshments to wet our whistles. Bring your funniest, wackiest or profoundest life adventure / career twist to share.
