Join us for a VERY special event featuring Adrian Miller, author of  The President's Kitchen Cabinet , an informative and entertaining journey through the history of presidential food. A former White House special assistant to President Bill Clinton, Adrian will focus on the African American cooks for Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Harrison, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Lyndon Johnson. 
Adrian Miller is an attorney, certified barbecue judge and food writer. He's the author of  Soul Food: The Surprising Story of an American Cuisine, One Plate at a Time , which won the 2014 James Beard Foundation Book Award for Reference and Scholarship.  White House 'snacks' will be served, and books will be available.
