Dear , I hope you had a fantastic Holiday and are adjusting to the frigid winter temperatures. I always count down the eight weeks from January 1st to March 1st because I know we're going to have some nice warm days in March and that means short sleeves and Spring golf. I was very busy on day one of the new year so it's taken me a little time to set my goals and settle into the right frame of mind to have another great year. I hope 2018 delivers exactly what you expect and I hope it's your best year ever! One final note or should I say one new note, check out this.......
Buyer's Broker Certified Listing!

I hope you enjoy this month's newsletter and I hope you will forward it to your friends, family, and colleagues who may be thinking about buying a home in the Upstate. All my best, Keith (864-420-0262)
The number of transactions jumped 9.7% to 1,061 year over year for the month of December and 3.5% year to date. This is a new annual record for the number of transactions (12,959). Inventory was up 9 % to 3973 Active Listings which is 3.8 months of inventory. We expect inventory to improve in 2018 and new construction will be as hot as 2005.

We at The Buyer's Broker believe the more you know, the more you will want The Buyer's Broker of Greenville to represent you in your next real estate transaction.
The U.S. weekly average for the 30-year fixed mortgage rate rose above 4 percent for the first time since last summer to 4.04 percent in this week's survey. This is the highest weekly average for the 30-year fixed rate mortgage since May of 2017.
The Federal Reserve's Beige Book indicates broad-based economic growth and labor markets are tightening. This means upward pressure on long-term rates, like the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage, is building. View the Freddie Mac Rate Survey Results

Mary and
I had the opportunity to visit Husk for the first time this month and we were very impressed. Jon Buck, the former executive sous chef of Husk Charleston has elevated our local ingredients with a sophisticated approach that will make your palate dance and sing. The wine list was easy to access online, which is a big deal to me because unless I like the wine, I usually won't dine!

It's expensive to stay downtown Greenville, but did you know there are
Five New Hotels coming to downtown. Do we need them all? There a lot of visitors who say yes and there are a lot of developers who say no. It's like most things, it depends on your perspective. Click Here to See a Video
