This year we will be accepting submissions via FilmFreeway and IndieOn will be hosting the voting for the Audience Award. IATSE 480 What You Need to Know

IATSE Local 480 represents professional film technicians working “below-the-line” on TV and movie productions in the state of New Mexico. Local 480 President, Liz Pecos, will be talking about the ways to get in the Union, who they represent and answering any questions you have about the Local 480.

Film Four Corners

Wondering what's going on with film and media in the Four Corners region of New Mexico? Well it turns out...a lot! Join FILMCAST and our guests Brent Garcia, Luke Hawthorne and Heath Cates as they let you in on all of the amazing things happening in the northwest region. Filmmaking, acting classes and even a new Film Festival are just some of the things happening and these three local guys will get you excited to join in.

NMFO Trainings

The New Mexico Film Office is hosting free training for people interested in expanding their knowledge of the film industry, including: what jobs are available, how to find work in the industry and what working on a production is like. You must RSVP for the trainings (and cancel if you are not able to make it).

2020 Official New Mexico Ornament Design Contest

The New Mexico Governor's Mansion Foundation and the New Mexico Film Office (NMFO) are proud to announce a design contest for New Mexico's popular official ornament. The 2020 state ornament theme is “New Mexico Films the Great American West.” The Foundation and NMFO are partnering to promote the state's history of film production and ranch culture. The top five designs will receive educational grants. This contest is open to all New Mexico students currently enrolled in a NM school (no age limits).
