Did you know?
Our parish now offers childcare during all weekend Masses! This includes Saturday Masses at 5pm, and Sunday Masses at 7:30am, 9am and 10:45am. If you utilize this wonderful FREE ministry service, please consider making a free-will donation to the childcare room or volunteer to help in the room once or twice a year (one-time
Safe Environment training required). The donation box can be found outside the childcare room. We are blessed to have a parish that offers this and the volunteers to help!

From the Desk of Ellen Knippel, Principal
Dear Parents,
Today begins the second semester for our students! This means we are half way through the school year! My, has time flown! Thus far, we have seen great growth in our students! Report cards will be coming home on Monday, January 29th. Along with the report cards you will find a conference slip. If you remember, we moved our mandatory conferences for all students to the second quarter. Grades 3K through grade 5 - please sign up for the most convenient conference time for you. Conference days are Wednesday, February 7 from 12:30 - 4:30pm and Thursday, February 15th from 3 - 7pm. Middle School teachers (grades 6, 7, 8) and Mr. Roou will be available on a first come, first served basis.
I am very pleased to announce that we have hired a new Physical Education Teacher, Mrs. Jessica Krause. Mrs. Krause will begin her position on Friday, January 26th. Our new Gym days will be Wednesdays, Thursdays and
Friday PM. Your child's teacher will give you their new gym times.
The Faculty has been working on updating our School Safety Plan. Recently, we had a member of the Waukesha County Sheriff's office present a very informative session to our teachers. The next step, happened today, is a school walk through to assess our overall plan for safety. We will then meet again and begin planning specific drills for our students. As we begin to plan these specialized drills, I will inform you, as parents, to help us prepare your child. We are always looking at ways to improve our safety procedures and, with the help of professionals, we can keep current on safety procedures.
Catholic Schools Week begins with our Mostaccioli Madness Dinner on Saturday, January 27th, at 4:30pm. Tickets are still available for this tasty dinner and AMAZING raffle prizes too!
Open House will take place on Sunday, January 28th, from 10am until 1pm. Come and see all of the great things happening in our school! Bring friends and relatives who may be interested in St. Anthony for a personalized tour! (Adult guides are still needed -
please use the sign up genius to help us out!)
Catholic Schools Weekend Masses
January 27 and 28
: We are in need of family speakers to represent our school before all of the Masses. This would entail a 2-3 minute speech about why you have chosen Catholic School for your family. Adult and student will share this time. If you would like to help us out at any of the Masses, Please contact Mrs. Knippel!
Included in today's newsletter is a rundown of special events for Catholic School's Week along with dress plans for each of the days.
TOMORROW, January 23rd we will be having a $1.00 out of uniform day to help replenish Student Council Funds. If your child wishes to be out of uniform, please send in that donation.
Tomorrow night is also Teacher Night at Culver's! Out of uniform passes will be given to all those who attend (eat in or drive thru service)! Come join the fun and have one of our teachers or me serve your dinner!
Blessings!
