New Drinking Fountain
Last year, the Class of 2017 donated an Elkay bottle filling station and water fountain for our junior high quad area. It has been put to great use by our students and faculty alike. In just seven months, we have helped eliminate waste from 2,701 disposable plastic bottles!

We are happy to announce that we have added an additional station in our playground area, thanks to a gracious donation from the Khurana family. "Love and respect everyone" will be on a gold plate and attached to the wall by the fountain. Please stop by to try out the new drinking fountain, which is adjacent to Room 100!

These are grade-level-specific information sessions that provide insight to the curriculum, daily schedules, classroom practices, and resources as well as the very best part: meeting the teachers for next year. These sessions are held in the mornings and in the evenings on the same days, which allows you to select the time most convenient for you, as both sessions contain the same information. Fairmont Prep Students Learn from Professionals in Silicon Valley
One of the wonderful teaching tools at Fairmont Prep is the collaboration between departments. On Wednesday, January 3 through Friday, January 5, International Business Program (IBP) Department Chair Mr. Massimini and Advanced Science & Engineering Program (ASEP) Director Mrs. Leslie took students from both programs to Silicon Valley to see firsthand what makes the Bay Area a unique place for technology innovation and entrepreneurship.

The students were able to tour, meet, and engage with engineers and executives from Facebook, KLA-Tencor Corporate headquarters, IBM Watson, and Apple. This opportunity is just another impressive way Fairmont Prep is making a difference in education by preparing students to succeed at college and challenge them to become exemplary citizens of a global society.
