URRICULUM:    Are you a leader?  Do you have what it takes to be an effective leader? Successful leaders think, see, and  communicate differently.   They look toward the future to know how things should be and are continuously developing themselves and those around them.  The benefit of taking this course is that that you will be given tools and strategies to equip you to be effective in your leadership role.   During this intensive and interactive two (2) day seminar we will:

  • Define leadership and identify the difference between leadership and supervision/management.
  • Discuss the importance of credibility and integrity in leadership.
  • Evaluate and discover your personal leadership style and strengths through a power online assessment that will reveal HOW you do what you do as a leader.
  • Understand the differences, purposes and challenges of personal and professional relationships on the job.
  • Learn the 6 types of power that you have as a leader and now NOT to abuse them.
  • Reveal the various pitfalls of leadership and how to avoid them.
  • Discuss leading and managing your team and understanding team development and dynamics
  • Develop your decision making, delegation and conflict resolution skills.

ATTIRE:   Business professional. No shorts, t-shirts.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:  Anyone presently in a leadership position, those newly promoted to leadership, or those that are simply interested in understanding what it takes to be an effective leader in today’s changing work environment.

REQUIREMENT:  Student must complete one (1) online assessment prior to the class.  The assessment link to complete will be sent via email approximately 10 days before the class after payment has been received and enrollment has been confirmed.

COST:  Cost to attend is $399.00

CANCELLATION POLICY:  Class registrations are not confirmed until payment is received in full.  Enrollees may cancel 14 days prior to the training and will receive a refund of the registration fee less $100.00 for processing fees.   Deadline to cancel and receive refund for this class is October 3, 2018.   If enrollee cancels less than 14 days before the training date, they will be rescheduled to the next available training for this class or date of their choosing.   Student substitutions are accepted for last minute changes as long as original enrollee has not complete the assessments for the class.
