deTec IP69K Safety Light Curtains
Safety under high pressure
The deTec safety light curtain product portfolio is expanding with the addition of a IP69K protective housing. The new IP69K protective housing is pre-assembled, field replaceable, and made for use in washdown environments with high pressure cleaning, such as in the food and beverage industry.

Seamless transition from the end cap to pipes and an optimized cable gland result in a protective housing without edges and gaps which can be cleaned quickly and easily and does not leave any space for contamination. Less product deposits means less cleaning effort and higher productivity.

Wireless Data Setting for ELECylinders
Set operating conditions with wireless connection
Now the ELECylinders position adjustments and operating conditions can be set by the TB-03 teaching pendant from outside the equipment, even without a cable connection.

The TB-03 can monitor the operating status of up to 16 axes while receiving wireless data from the ELECylinder. Error recovery time can also be shortened by troubleshooting with wireless connection.

The ELECylinder electric actuators replace air cylinders. With multi-positioning it can start and stop smoothly at high velocity, reducing cycle times.

New Capacitive Encoders for Stepper Motors
Thin profile and resistant to contaminants
Applied Motion Products, Inc. is pleased to announce the introduction of a new encoder feedback option for NEMA 17, 23, and 24 frame stepper motors. These new incremental encoders are built upon a technology that utilizes capacitive reactance to generate digital signals for speed and position feedback in the motor and drive system.

Capacitive encoders offer advantages over other encoder types, including resistance to environmental contaminants such as dust and oil. Modular capacitive encoders also have thin profiles and are competitively priced.
