FSA Testing
I am pleased to share that FSA testing has gone very smoothly so far and I thank our Tildenville families for their support. A good night's rest the evening before a testing date and a healthy breakfast the morning of the test has really helped the students to perform. We want our Tigers to be able to do their very best - Special 2018 Testing Letter for Parents.

We do have some important reminders and announcements in this issue that we need our school community to be aware of before we open the last school month of the year.

Full-Day Pre-K Next Year!

2018-2019 Dual Language
There are still a few seats left for Dual Language available in all grades next year. If you are interested, please contact [email protected] or 407-877-5054 ext. 3972232.

Tildenville Summer Camp Application Deadline was Friday, April 13th
Any applications that have come in after this date or for students who were unable to be present the full time have been placed on a wait list. A reminder will be coming home with students with the times and dates for you to place on your calendars. If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Ross at [email protected]

Third Grade Summer Reading Camp will be Determined by FSA ELA Scores
Only students who obtain a level 1 on the ELA FSA assessment will qualify to attend. As of today, we do not yet have the score release dates. Once the scores come in, parents of students that qualify will be notified by the school.

Students in all Grades Will Take the i-Ready Reading Assessment in May
Additionally, 5th grade students will take their Common Final Exam's (CFE's) in May. CFE's will be in art, music, French, PE and gifted. The window for these assessments is May 2 to May 22.



The Tiger's Den in 2018-2019
For the 2018-2019 school year, Tildenville will have its own OCPS Extended Day Enrichment Program. The link below will take you to the OCPS website with information on fees and hours of operation. Registration forms for those interested will be coming soon!

Please follow these testing tips to help your child be ready and at their best on testing days!
  • Get a good night's sleep
  • Eat a healthy breakfast
  • Be positive!
  • Send in a letter of encouragement with your child. Teachers will distribute letters on each of their testing days.
