What drew you to joining the board of Downtown Indiana?
I have been very impressed by Indiana's ability to maintain a thriving downtown, even through an economic climate that has really devastated some other small towns. I have chosen to raise my family here, and I want to do everything I can to ensure positive things keep happening!

On what DI committees/event committees do you serve?
As the chair of the Membership committee, it is my job to ensure Indiana businesses and residents understand the value of supporting DI by becoming a member. Please join!  I also serve on the planning committee for the Wine Walk, which is a fun and successful fundraiser held every November in Downtown.

What is your favorite thing about downtown?
The variety of events. No matter if you are young or old, or whether you are a foodie,  wine connoisseur, music lover, arts enthusiast, or just have an affinity for really big Christmas trees - there is something for everyone!

Name a fun fact that people may not know about you?
While I was born and raised in Indiana, I lived in the Washington DC area for several years after graduating from IUP.  While I enjoyed my time the city, I have come to learn that just about everything I need is right here in my hometown.
