God's Covenant Love in Scripture

"Covenant" is the master concept that unlocks the meaning of the Bible. The Scriptures tell the story of God the Father's love for His children and His plan to fashion all people into one holy family. Look at how God unfolds his plan of salvation through a series of covenants, culminating in the New Covenant He makes in Jesus.

The Sultan and the Saint depicts the story of St. Francis' visit to Sultan al-Kamil in Egypt amidst the conflict between Christians and Muslims during the Crusades. Their exchange stands as an example of peaceful dialogue for Christians and Muslims today.

Join us at the parish's weekly hospitality dinner following the 5:30 p.m. mass (approx. 6:30 p.m.). The film will begin at 7 p.m., and the run time is 68 minutes. The evening will end with discussion.
