Parent Policies & Procedures Updated
Dear families,
Please note that there has been an addendum to the Parent Policies & Procedures for this year and has been updated on our website. Below is the excerpt added:

No Weapons on McGaw YMCA Property or at McGaw YMCA Programs 
The purpose of this policy is to ensure a safe environment for children, families, and staff and visitors. The McGaw YMCA prohibits all persons who enter a McGaw YMCA property or program space from carrying a handgun, firearm, or weapon of any kind regardless of whether the person is licensed to carry the weapon or not. Possession of a concealed carry endorsement is not an exemption under this policy.

Kindergarten Night
Thursday, March 15th 5-6pm

Pre-K families you are invited to come hear about our kindergarten readiness assessment data, information regarding our after-school program, and expectations from a District 65 Teacher!
School Age Updates
Full & Half Day Holiday Programs
Half Day Holiday is on March 7th. Your child will be bused to the Foster Reading Center or the Children's Center. Lunch and snack will be provided. Pick up by 6pm.    

Spring Break Camp - Register NOW! 
Enjoy a little taste of Summer Day Camp this spring! Join us for fun-filled days where we will experience our favorite summer camptivities like arts & crafts, improv, sports, games, dance & more! Come play both inside and outside while we make new memories and celebrate spring!

  • Ultimate Outdoor Adventure (4th - 6th)
  • Science & Nature In Our World (4th - 6th)  
  • All have full or extended day options, plus flexible pick-up/drop-off times 
All options promise unforgettable experiences led by trained staff who are focused on safety, building relationships, engaging activities, and FUN!

Registration Information
Bridge Care
Join us Tuesday June 5th - 9th for low key activities to bridge the time between School's Out and the start of Summer Day Camp. This program is only available to current School's Out participants. Register now as space is limited. Registration for this program is with the Summer Day Camp enrollment form. 

Fall 2018 Registration
Registration is now open for the 2018 - 2019 school year! During priority registration, February 26th - March 9th, currently enrolled families will receive 50% off their registration fee. Don't forget to sign up during this time and secure your child's space for next school year. 

Paws for Books!
We're excited to announce our Spring Book Fair is April 9th - 13th. Join us in the Children's Center lobby to support your child's classroom library and maybe pick up a book for your home collection. Come. Stay. Read a Great Tale! at our Paws for Books Spring Book Fair.
