District Choir - Rehearsal
Tuesday, 1/23, Mixed Rehearsal 3:05 - 4:20 pm
Students participating in District Choir should return their forms and checks payable to LHS Choral Guild by Thursday, January 25. Students who are ordering lunch or t-shirts must also complete the online order form available on the Google Classroom Langley Chorus site by Thursday, January 25.
Pyramid Concert -
Call Times at McLean Bible Church on Tuesday, 1/24:
* Madrigals and Womens Chamber 3:00 pm.
(We will leave school at 2:30 pm)
* Concert, Select, and Treble 6:00 pm
Lettering
If you plan to receive a choir letter this year (you must have auditioned for District Choir), Letter Point Tally Sheets are due no later than Friday, 2/2. Bring any programs for concerts you have attended thus far. You will have a chance to add others in the spring. Don't worry abou
t fund raising or submitting voice/piano lessons right now. We will take care of that later, as well. If you are not planning to letter this year, but want to carry points forward to next year, you may turn in your form at the end of the year.
Chamber and Madrigal Costumes -
Now that performances are finished, Renaissance Feaste costumes should be dry cleaned and returned to school no later than Friday, February 2.

Choral Guild News
MANDATORY for Spring Trip Chaperones
Choral Guild Meeting - Tuesday, 2/6,
7 pm, in the Choir Room.
Pyramid Concert - Baked goods for Cooper dinner, sign up in Choir room for Chamber and Madrigals.
Attention Parents of District Choir Students:
Dr. Lambert will be conducting the District I Treble Choir in Richmond which takes place at the same time as our District Choir event. He is in need of official parent chaperones to be with our students at Oakton High School during their rehearsals. Duties would include being there for our students in case of emergencies, distributing name tags, lunch tickets, t-shirts, etc., and just helping out with chaperoning where needed. You would also get to watch the rehearsals with the students as they prepare for their concert. Please let Dr. Lambert know if you might be available for any portion of the following times.
Thursday, February 8
, 5:30 to 9:00 pm
Friday, February 9, Bus leaves at 9:30 am and
returns to LHS around 5:30.
(It would be great to have a chaperone on the bus with the students. If not possible, the chaperone could follow the bus to and from Oakton.)
Saturday, February 10
, 8:45 am until concert begins at 3:00 pm
